Hi, I’m Caren, the maker behind The Bobbin Thread.
I’m a UK-based handmade creator with a love for sewing, fabrics, and turning simple materials into something both beautiful and practical. What started as a hobby at home has grown into a small handmade business where every item is made by me, with care and attention to detail.
🧵 My story
Sewing became my creative escape; a way to slow down, switch off, and make something with my hands.
Over time, that passion turned into designing and creating handmade bags, fabric bookmarks, book covers, and everyday accessories that are not only useful, but feel special too.
As a busy mum of four, I understand how important it is to have items that are both practical and bring a little bit of joy to everyday life, and that’s exactly what I aim to create.
